Quality Instruction in a fun-filled atmosphere for players ages 6 to 14. Campers will improve their skills, understanding of the game and confidence on the field.

Choose from 7 weekly sessions held on the beautiful campus of the FC Transylvania soccer training center from Mt. Kisco, NY. Campers have access to an outdoor covered Turf Soccer (Field House),  and excellent Grass Fields. All Transylvania Coaches are professional, certified and experienced working with players ages 6 to 14.

Daily Schedule (subject to change):

9:00 am – Arrival

9:00 – 9:10 am, Daily Meeting / Announcements

9:10 – 9:30 am, Warm ups, Greet the day games

9:30 – 10:00 am, Speed & agility training

10:00 – 10:45 am, Technical (Skills) session

10:45 – 11:15 am, Tactical session (player’s field positioning)

11:15 AM – 12:00 PM, Match (game) condition, scrimmage

12:00 – 12:15 pm, Dismissal

Campers will enjoy a structured playing environment that promotes growth, healthy competition and love of the game.

All sessions Monday – Friday.  Half Day Camp 9am-12noon.

Week 1: July 17 – 21, Week 2: July 24 – 28, Week 3: July 31 – Aug 4, Week 4: Aug 7 – 11, Week 5: Aug 14 – 18, Week 6: Aug 21 – 25,  Week 7: Aug 28 – Sep 1

Transylvania training elements and focus by age:

Age 6: Controlling the ball, turning, dribbling and shooting.

Ages 7- 8: Changing direction, pace of run, shielding, dribbling and passing for possession.

Ages 9 -10: Improving sequences of movement. Emphasis on technique refinement. Shooting strength and footwork skills.

Ages 11-12: Solidifying technique under time, space and opposition pressure. Tactical planning individual and group training. Improve overall conditioning with soccer-specific exercises.

Ages 13 -14: Solidify, refine and perfect basic technique and tactics; and adapt them to higher demands of match play. Develop team play-Tactical Functional training. Specific, targeted fitness training.
